Born in Opp, AL in 1976 I started taking piano lessons at age seven. . I got my first drum set at age eight. I was playing three nights a week, as a drummer, by the age of fourteen in a top-40 band in the southeast. Within a year we were opening for acts such as Dean Dillon, Neal McCoy, Mcbride And The Ride, The Gibson Miller Band, and Lee Roy Parnell.

When I was twenty one I took a job in Raleigh, NC playing in a party, country, rock, top-40 variety band called The Switch. Opening for several major acts on the east coast. Playing 150-200 gigs a year for eight years. I was offered the job with mod rock band  Love Over Gravity, with famous producer Michael Wagener and made the move to Nashville.

Upon arrival, I was immediately working five nights a week, playing showcases for new artists, and recording demos. In late 2005 I became a dad. Soon after I went to Europe on a USO tour  with a band called Wild Gypsy. In 2007 I joined Curb Recording artists Trick Pony. I continued playing with founding members Keith Burns and Ira Dean with their solo recording careers. Worked with Keith in New Country Duo Burns And Poe produced by James Stroud.Which consist of Keith Burns(Trick Pony)and Michelle Poe(Hank Jr,Deirks Bentley)Formally of Dreamworks. I am featured in the "Golden Tee Golf Game" 2010 trailer performed and written by Ira Dean, Including over 100,000 GT video games all over. I still work with Ira when available.

Toured and recorded with Wind-Up artist Eric Durrance on the CMT tour 2008 with Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum. I am featured in the video "Turn It Off" that was #17 video on GAC TV and in heavy rotation on CMT. Continued working with Eric through 2009. I recorded drum tracks for Eric earlier this year with producer Robert Wright for his new record.

Currently touring with American Idol Alumni Bucky Covington (Lyric Street/Hollywood Records). Who's first album debuted at #1 and produced 4 top ten singles. Bucky has a new album coming out in September. His new single is steadily moving up the charts currently at #23 on billboard. Touring the rest of the year. Also will be doing over 150 dates in 2011 with Bucky in support of the new record. When not on the road I schedule sessions, showcases in town. In my down time I play  at the world famous Tootsies Orchid Lounge with The Scott Collier Band, As well as record with.
