Sean o'shea grew up in woodland hills, california. His father was a professional drummer and so it was no surprise that he showed an early interest in the drums. He had his first drumset at 4 years of age, and was playing in his first band at 10 years old. Though mostly self taught, sean did spend some time studying latin rhythms with joey heredia and ronnie guiterez. He spent many years playing all types of gigs with anyone and everyone in los angeles.
The last few years have seen sean blessed with some fantastic musical opportunities, and it seems he's becoming the go to guy in los angeles for producers, solo artists, or bands looking to bring some authentic soul to their projects. Known as much for his old school approach as he is for the incredible sounds he gets from his vintage gear, Sean's ability to seemlessly combine the sounds and feels of yesterday with what's happening today could be his biggest gift ie; the work he's done with alicia keys, ghostface killa, pharoahe monch, and raheem devaughn to name a few. And he really shines in his work with his own band "Orgone", who have been together for 15 years and are currently signed to ubiquity records.
