Heather's percussion career began as a member of the Bandettes Drum and Bugle Corp, from Sault St. Marie Ont. Canada and a member of the Capitolairs Drum and Bugle Corps from Madison Wisconsin where she was taught under the likes of Tom Blair, Brian Parker, Julie Woodbury and Chris Hankes. In 1994, Heather entered the DCI Solo and Ensemble competitions where she placed in the top 5 in the multi-tenor division. After her age out year, she continued to be involved in the marching arts activity for both color guard and drum line. She has worked with organizations such as, Coachmen D&B Corps, Racine Scouts D&B Corps, Rocori High School, Whitnall High School, Eastview High School, and West DePere High School . She served on the North Star Color Guard Circuit board of directors and was the Contest Director from 2002-2006. Currently Heather is the Caption Head and Program Coordinator for the South St. Paul High School Winter Ensemble and volunteers for Winter Guard International
