Joe Travers has been working for The Zappa Family Trust as resident drummer, with Dweezil & Ahmet's band "Z" (1993-1996) and now with "Zappa Plays Zappa" (2006-present).

Joe has been playing professionally since 1993, touring & recording in a variety of projects Zappa-related, as well as a stint with Duran Duran (1999-2001). Over the years he's played live with folks such as Lisa Loeb, Carnie & Wendy Wilson, Mike Keneally, Warren Cuccurullo (Missing Persons-Duran Duran), Drake Bell, and Rich Robinson (The Black Crowes).
