Ben Antelis is a New York and Los Angeles based drummer, songwriter, producer and musical director. He grew up in a large musical family and dabbled in many instruments. After high school, He enrolled in L.A. Music Academy in 2007 studying Drums, songwriting and music business.

After graduating he remained in L.A. and composed music for National Geographic, Discovery Channel, and Coca-Cola and various other networks and shows. Ben quickly became a fixture in the local music scene, recording, writing, producing and touring with many up and coming artists.

In July 2010, after moving back to his hometown of NYC, Ben began touring with American Idol’s David Archuleta, playing on live television and in arenas around the world. From there, he has gone on to tour with Antonia Bennett, daughter of the legendary Tony Bennett, Kelley James, Paula Valstein and Soulfarm.

Along with a constant and heavy touring schedule,Ben is Currently working with his own original project, The New Velvet, and focusing on songwriting and production.
