Misael Blanco was born in Ciudad Juarez Chih. Mexico. While he constantly played with his mothers pots and pans, it became clear at a young age that natural talent and ability were a part of him. At age 11 Misael started to find his true passion on the drums.
When he turned 17 he started touring different cities in Mexico with a mens Christian band called Hombre a Hombre. What started out as touring nearby cities ended up with the group touring all over all over the Republic of Mexico.
At the age of 20, Misael moved to El Paso TX, where He attended the University of Texas at El Paso Texas where he studied classical percussion.
In 1998, when he was 20, he started traveling with the artist whom which he still travels with to this day, Jesus Adrian Romero. Jesus Adrian Romero is an internationally known Grammy Award Winner and nominee, singer-song writer. He is also one of the most prominent Christian Latin singers in all of Latin America. In 1998, Misaels international touring began.
Up to this date he has played in countries spanning from Central and South America, Europe, Canada, the Caribbean, to the USA. The majority of these tours include sold out concerts in internationally known venues. In various occasions while on these tours, Misael has given Drum clinics.
With more than 25 recordings, Misael has not only done numerous studio recordings with Jesus Adrian, but also has done recordings with other artists that form part of the same record label company such as Marcela Gandara, Abel Zavala and Lily Goodman amongst others. Many of those recordings have been awarded and accomplished to make excellent sales and managed to climb to the number one spot in many popular charts.
I play Vater Sticks no only because they feel incredible, but also because they inspire me musically, and also challenge me to become a better musician.
I enjoy playing with Vater sticks because they feel like a natural extension of my hands and make it easier for me to accomplish the ideas that Id like to project
