James Rollerson ., better known as JT was born in Charleston, South Carolina. Since the age of three, drums have been a major part of his life. It is said that where your heart is so will your treasure be, this is certainly one of his treasures. JT began playing drums for his church at the age of 8. Playing with some of the best musicians around, has taught him the fundamentals of drumming. No matter who gave JT instruction, it was God who placed the talent in him from a young age. His credits and accomplishments include performing with such names in the Gospel and Pop world as: Tye Tribbett, Jonathan Nelson, Lloyd, Miguel and many more….He's also done several TV appearances as well.
JT now serves as drummer for the "Far East Movement", the asian-american pop group from Los Angeles, CA on Cherry Tree/ Interscope Records, who are climbing the charts on the billboard top POP 100's. JT has such a love and respect for the drums and the role it plays, whether it be behind someone singing or an instrumental piece, each note and movement is taken into great detail. JT has always been taught that practice makes perfect. Well practice he does, every opportunity to practice he’s right at it perfecting his gift and creating an experience of a lifetime.
